DESCRIPTION
Propranolol is the first of the pharmaceutical "beta blockers", blocking activity of epinephrine on Beta-1 and Beta-2 adrenergic receptors. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure, anxiety and migraine, and may have other psychoactive effects involving memory.
