Cold Water DMT Extraction

I've been reading about cold water DMT extraction, so I decided to experiment with it myself to find if it really works. I have been fasting the last five days, and preparing myself mentally for the experience through meditation and breathing exercises. I had already consumed ayahuasca the night before which was made through the boiling method.

I began by breaking down 25 grams of mimosa hostilis root bark until it was nearly all powder. I then placed the powdered root bark in an empty bottle and added 200ml of ice cold water. The first extract was soaked between 3:50 and 7:10 PM, The mixture was shaken up periodically. I then strained the reddish brown liquid into a separate glass through a t-shirt. The second extract was started at 7:12 PM, same as first 200 ml of cold water. Second extract was complete at 9:49 PM. It was placed in a different glass from the first extract. They will not be boiled down, I will take two 200 ml doses separately.

Now my original intention was to try the root bark without an MAOI. But, my doubts got the best of me and I felt that it needed something extra. So, I placed about 10 grams of banisteriopsis caapi in each glass and let them soak. I consumed the first glass at 10:45 PM. Compared to my previous ayahuasca experience this tasted great, it wasn't neccesarily good tasting just much better. It doesn't take long at all to start feeling the effects. Initially it was a definite stoned feeling, but very stoned. The entire room seemed to be tinted orange. After about 20 minutes I feel the pleasant sensation that I associate with hallucinogens. A very difficult feeling for me to explain. There are small colors in circles and semi circles floating in the air and on the ceiling. Small strange amoeba-like entities were soon to follow. After about 40 minutes to 50 minutes my body began to vibrate from inside. In my legs, my head, and especially in my chest. There were small lights flashing on the ceiling. And a long black crevice was opening and closing. Slight nausea at this point.

I'm not sure what but something in my head told me it was time for my second glass at 12:15 AM. This glass was much worse tasting than the first. The caapi vine had soaked much longer in this dose, and I realized the taste from the caapi was the bad taste I recall from my previous ayahuasca. I ventured outside to spend time in the woods (I live very conveniently placed in a wooded area). The trip is becoming very intense now. I decided to spend my time in the woods cross-legged on a fallen tree, overlooking a clearing. There was a brilliant bright kind of white-green outline to all the plants. As if I could see their essence. The smalls lights from earlier were now millions upon millions of erratically flashing lights. My head feels as if it's closing in on me slowly, and my vision grows darker at the same pace. Then it's like an explosion. The air became incredibly dense and foggy, swirling intensely in ever changing colors.There are small flashes of what I believe to be galaxies. Beautiful and magnificent colors and stars disappearing seconds after I perceive them. And an infinite sense that all is possible through life although it's a very delicate balance. Everything makes perfect sense. The world is one, WE are all one. Every living thing, every miracle, all the pain and terrible things we're forced to live with. It all coincides beautifully.

There was a gradual drop in intensity over the next hour, I went back inside at 1:40 am and lay in my bed with the lights off staring at the ceiling. there are still slight visuals, stoned feeling, and everything is still very vivid and surreal. I layed there for about 20 minutes and It seemed I had pretty much lost all my visuals. Still I had a very intense feeling of comfort and peace. I slowly drifted to sleep, the next morning I woke up with slight visuals, random foggy colors and lights. This only lasted maybe 30 minutes. All day I've felt a pleasant afterglow and mild sedative like effect. I am thinking much clearer now than I have recently.

There was never a purge which I was grateful for. I've learned a wonderful lesson about myself and my life from my experiences with DMT and I've never been more excited to actually live than I am now. DMT really is an amazing experience and I haven't even begun to reach for the places it can take me and the lessons I'm sure it can teach. I hope to learn much more from this wondrous concoction.
