First Time Smoking Meth

So I have tried most drugs, but have always been skeptical about Meth. I lived in San Francisco for a few years, and was aware of how Meth can affect the user, and how prominent it was among the gay community. I am a full-on stoner, smoking weed day and night. I'm not proud of it, but I have even put out sexually to get money to score some weed. And that's where I had my first opportunity to try Meth. I was taking my clothes off for a stranger, when he turns around and offers me a hit. I tell him I'm a newbie, so he lights it for me, and I inhale. He tells me to hold it in as long as I can. But I blow out a huge cloud of smoke. I didn't feel it right away (though I wish I had) and had to endure the sex without being high. About 30-45 minutes after smoking, I could feel a light-headedness, and a mild sense of euphoria. I was waiting for a few hours to feel something more intense, but that feeling never came. I was wondering If I did something wrong. Did I not smoke enough? Did I not hold it in long enough? Was it just bad Meth? Anyways, I doubt I'll do it again, unless I am with someone I know, and if they can assure the quality of the Meth
