A friend of mine had acquired a great deal of 2C-I. I had heard good things about it and had wanted to try it, as I once saw someone who had taken it that seemed like he was the happiest person in the world. I can still envision the smile and the look on his face as we sat on a grassy hill in the country listening to some live bluegrass at a small festival.

My friend had measured out capsules of 20 mg. I found a friend who was interesed in taking it with me. We went out for breakfast, and upon returning home at about 1:30 pm we decided to take the capsules.

The come up lasted for over three hours.
The come up lasted for over three hours.
I became anxious, pacing back and forth. Hot and cold flashes. I did not feel comfortable at all and I could not sit on my couch with my friend. I turned the heat on and covered myself with a blanket. I got too hot so I changed into a tshirt and shorts. I was having very negative thoughts. I tried to hide this from my friend as best I could as I did not want to alarm him. Two hours into the come up I began to feel very nauseous. I threw up several times. I was back and forth from the bathroom for hours. I couldn't keep anything down. I tried drinking water, Gatorade-nothing would stay in my stomach. I felt sick, dehydrated. I couldn't imagine taking this at a festival and having no control. Even in a controlled environment I did not feel safe. I remember thinking that I wanted to go to the hospital, my mind was racing. What had I done?

My friend was completely oblivious as he is an idiot. I finally told him how sick and worried I felt. He tried to comfort me but I could not stop running to the bathroom. Suddenly he felt nauseous and there we were, taking turns in the bathroom puking for hours. The only thing that made me feel any better was smoking some marijuana, which unfortunately my friend was not able to partake in.

My thyroid hurt. Bad. I felt like my throat was closing up and that I was having trouble breathing. I felt the effects of the 2C-I long into the evening. Even at 9pm, I still had this excruciating pain in my neck. I was afraid to go to sleep because I thought I would vomit and aspirate. I had never been so paranoid in all my life, I needed to sleep but was afraid to take my prescribed Xanax as I know it is a CNS depressant.

For the rest of that week, I felt pain through my entire body, mostly my joints, and my thyroid. I finally decided to make an appt with my doctor.

Immediately upon looking at me she could tell that my thyroid was enlarged. That same day I went for an ultrasound. They found a nodule on my thyroid half an inch long. My suspicions were correct.

I had a biopsy two weeks later and thankfully it is benign. The pain went away. I do not require treatment--yet.

I would not give this substance to even my worst enemy. I attribute this nodule to.

I am not sure how long these things take to grow on your thyroid, but a friend of mine had a bout of skin cancer (not the one that took 2C-I, this is completely unrelated) that only took three weeks to develop and it required surgery.

This is something that I will need to monitor for the rest of my life. I am only 25. I will never use this substance ever again.
