I did an easy vinager extract using some fresh delosperma cooperi I picked out of the front yard. I let the plant matter soak in the 1part vinager, 2 part water for 1 week. I then strained through a sock into a glass jar. I did a solvent pull using d-limo. After discarding the solvent I poured this concoction into a glass baking dish to let dry. I wasn't sure what my final yield would be due to the lack of info available on the Internet about the DMT in delosperma. I ended up with a huge amount of orange crystals at the bottom. After scraping I found out I had accumulated about 2 grams of crystal.

I placed a small amount in my pipe, heated it for a second to burn off the acetate, and then drew a long smooth hit. The crystal bubbled and popped. I waited a few seconds and the took another hit. I waited for the flash... But nothing.

I decided to break off another chunk. This time one roughly the size of a kidney bean. I got about 4 hits. This time when I closed my eyes I felt as if I was floating. All the while I saw grey and white patterns unfold, warp, and transform. Definitly not a DMT trip, but an effect nonetheless. I did this during summertime and I read somewhere that these plants produce little to no DMT during this season. I will do some more extractions during spring, winter, and fall to see if I get different results.
