So my dad has a bunch of Norcos left over after his heart surgery so I help myself every so often. It has a surprisingly low dose of acetaminophen (about 100 mg) per every 10 mg so I wasn't worried about popping them.

I took 3 right off at my buddies house on a totally empty stomach and then the next 2 over the next 30 minutes. What I now realize about this drug is that it is very subtle. This drug won't 'fuck me up' or 'flip my shit', but it is very powerful if I know what to look for. It gave me a nice, warm buzz through the next few hours making the time pass quickly before I decided to crash on my buddies couch. Here is where the experience truly begins. The next 4 or 5 hours consisted of me drifting in and out of consciousness in a particularly fascinating way.

It just so happened that I had had my first day of work at a new pizza delivery job and it had been quite hectic, so I was anxious about how work would go the next day. For about an hour and a half I wake-dreamed of delivering pizzas and living through scenarios of what might go wrong. But soon I was able to shake myself of the theme of pizza delivery and left my imagination wander.

This is where the drug shows itself in true form. The way I would describe it best is acting like a potentiator for connection of thought. It helps me get from one idea to the next by literally playing out the situation in my head. Some truly exciting revelations were made not just because of the drug but because of this simple laid out way of thinking. It was like my brain didn't have to work it was all played out in front of me on a television screen.
