Salvia Negated? Mu-Kappa Blocked?

I have found that when yohimbe is taken before a salvia session the effects are drastically altered, even negated to an extent. This was at first puzzling to me but has become more understood and intriguing.

I am writing this report about 4 years after I made this discovery. I had taken some yohimbe extract I have taken many times before (containing 9mg of alkaloids). About an hour (no more than T-1:45) later I decided to smoke some salvia for there was no pot around ( I was a pothead then). I proceeded to smoke two maybe 2 ½ large hits of standardized 10x (about 600-700ug) To my surprise the effects were almost totally different, Mind you I have used salvia at least 50 time at this point from level one to not knowing who I am what I just did and how I arrived in this strange world that is tearing at my body and soul.

This time was actually more pleasurable to me and much less intense. I actually kept my mental facilitates. Given the unexpected change I tried this combination several more times. I also had 3 others whom are used to salvia use the exact same combination and dose range. With similar results all had a more “soft” effect from the salvia were more with it cognitively and had a different effect on vision ( a gold hue from the yohimbe was accentuated). Although there seem to be a bit of variation in the effect as should be expected when dealing with salvia.
