I love hallucinogens, and up until last week I had tried mushrooms, LSD, MDMA (mali), and DMT all at least twice. I never intended to do ketamine, but last week a friend of mine and I wanted to do some mali, and a friend had what we thought was mali. They gave us a tenth hit to split, so we cut it out and I took my half.

My friend was complaining that her stomach hurt and almost let me take her half as well, but lucky for me my friend's a bit of a drug addict and wasn't going to pass up putting something up her nose, so she took her half as well. I noticed that it didn't burn the way that mali did when I'd snorted it before (it should burn worse than any coke or prescription I could ever snort), and my friend thought it tasted like dishwashing detergent.

My eyeballs started to feel weird in my head, extra smooshy or something about five minutes after I snorted the drug. We were in a room upstairs, so after we had done our drugs we started to go downstairs. My knees were jerking around weird and it was hard for me to walk. We got downstairs and I collapsed into a chair and felt like I wasn't going to be able to move. I also felt extremely exhausted; I knew this was not MDMA.

About fifteen minutes after I took it, I pretty much blacked out, but I remember bits and pieces and my friends have filled in other parts. I thought I fell asleep in the chair, but apparently I dove onto a couch, began writhing around screaming 'fuck!' I couldn't really see, I recall, things were moving too fast and too slow at the same time. It was like things were constantly freeze framing and the house I was in has lots of patterns and paintings, and things were swirling and moving so much that I don't think I could see anything. I couldn't see any of my friends.

I remember coming to every once in a while and seeing my one friend who apparently followed me around all night, asking me every time he thought I was coming back into consciousness if I was okay. I remember telling him, completely calm in my mind, that I was fine, and I was actually confused at times as to why he was worried about me. Lots of things happened that I don't remember at all, including vomiting all over myself, a lot of screaming about wanting to go home and other nonsense, and crawling under buckets. I remember for a period of time I was whispering to everyone because I thought I had lost my voice.

I am pretty sure that I took ketamine that night, but not an overdose, I just don't think that taking ketamine when you don't know you're taking ketamine is a very good idea and is not going to have a very good result.
