Interesting Experience

Surfing the internet while at home on Friday night with no weed, I found reports about the intoxication from nutmeg. Interested, I mix up 3 tablespoons of nutmeg with a tall glass of milk. I quickly down the drink, it wasn't too bad, the milk covers up the taste quite well. This is what went down:

10:30 PM: I drink 3 tbsp of nutmeg with a tall glass of milk.

10:30-11:30 PM: I grow impatient waiting for the first effects of the nutmeg set in.

11:30-12:30 PM: Still no huge effects yet. I am now, however giddy and relaxed, while stimulated, preventing me from getting sleep.

12:30-1:00 AM: I fell asleep around this time. By now I am having slight auditory hallucinations.

1:00-2:30 AM: Sleep.

2:30-4:30 AM: I am woken up by the stronger effects of the nutmeg. Auditory hallucinations are increasing and the first signs of visual hallucinations are setting in. My personal body temperature increases greatly and I start to feel extremely cold. I fall back into a deep sleep.

4:30-9:00 AM: Sleep.

9:00-10:00 AM: The buzz has worn off, leaving me feeling tired and burnt out after only an hour of being awake.

10:00-10:30 AM: I decided that most effects from the nutmeg, in my experience, were missed from my deep sleep. I decide to take my second dose of nutmeg. Another 3 tablespoons mixed with a glass of milk is taken.

10:30-12:00 AM: First effects set in again, this time with the hangover effects of last night. I am feeling sluggish and stimulated at the same time.

12:00-3:30 PM: The second dose of nutmeg has taken effect almost fully. Slight to moderate hallucinations are being seen/heard.

3:30-6:00 PM: I am suddenly very energetic and decide to go for a walk. This whole time period is a haze. The experience is dream like.

6:00-12:00 PM: Sleep.

12:00-2:00 AM: Now, a day after my first experience with nutmeg, I know the powers of nutmeg in my system. I never doubted the powers of this once. I have not (yet...) puked, as I read most do. The main effects are mostly over, hangover effects still remain. I expect the hangover to last for a few more days, at least. Judging from what I've read.

It'll be a while before I use nutmeg for anything more than my coffee. Not because of a bad trip, just because of the toll it takes on one's body.

The bottom line is: Nutmeg is a cheap, natural high that actually got me quite wasted.
