Amazing, but Not Worth the Withdrawal

I'm 38. Frequent weed smoker. Have experience with acid when much younger, but have spent most of my 30s dabbling in pharms. Mostly extracting codeine from pain meds. This is my first time experiencing with this particular drug. I read that railing the stuff is the way to get the most bang for your buck, but I've lived this long without needles. So I crushed up two 2mg pills and snorted them. Almost immediately that euphoric rush of an opiate high permeated my cells. That part lives up to the billing. I collapsed inside my body and just let everything go. Similar to a codeine high, but stronger.

Anyway, I snorted twice daily until I ran out. That was 9 days. I had read about withdrawals, but the tenth day went off without a hitch. Then came the night. I woke in the middle of the night with my mind racing and I was sweating through the sheets. The next three days were a nightmare of nausea, sweating, itching, not being able to do much of anything including sleep for any length of time.

Won't do again. Wasn't worth it.
