MDMA Extended Usage, 'Loss of Magic'

This is a quick opinion of mine on the drug MDMA and the potential loss of empathy with extended use.

The particular event I am refering to occured between 7-8 months after I had stopped using MDMA. Before that time I had used it between 15-20 times in a 6-month period. The more often I used MDMA I found that I do not achieve the desired results, my friends and I call it 'the flow'. For several reasons I stopped using MDMA for a period of time, loss of easy availability, legal issues, low quality for recently used pills etc.

I had heard rumors and read online that after extended usage you lose the 'magic' of MDMA. I thought that this might be the case for myself. I found I enjoyed MDMA the most when I had done things that naturally make me feel high, doing well in college, working out, not having legal issues and stuff like that, and I had not used MDMA in a month or more (with good quality pills or pure MDMA, I Hope =) ).

Anyway, when the opportunity came I did ecstasy again with my best friend, his roomate which I had never met and a girl that I had just met who could get ecstasy (pink dolphins). Oh my god, it was amazing, it was all that I could have asked out of the drug, increased energy, increased sensitivity, and we all loved being around each other and within each others company. Brushing my teeth felt amazing, drinking orange juice, it was all like my first times using ecstasy all over again. I was anticipating this event a lot and it met all of my expectations. We went to Wal-Mart rollin our balls off and we went on several walks, had the house to ourselves with music blaring and it helped me remember how beautiful life really is. It was one of the best times I have had on ecstasy, and I have been to several raves.

This was after I tried waiting several months and doing things positively in my life to make me a better person.
