Where do I start. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I found a bottle of Ambien in my parents medicine cabinet. I'm not an ameture with drugs, I've been using marijuana for about 3 years, and have experimented with cocaine, LDS, mushrooms, Ayahuasca, hydrocodine, oxycotin, ecstasy, DXM, and other substances. I had used Ambien twice before this particular experience. One time using 50 mg through the night, and the other with 20 mg as one dose. I enjoyed the effects greatly and though it was a great drug, until this one particular night.

I had come home from work and decided that this night I was going to experiment by taking 3 10mg Ambien, so 30 mg. I wasnt expectin what was going to happen next. It was about 12 midnight when I took them and around 12:30 I began to heavily fell the effetcs of the Ambien. Then I woke up at 12:00 noon the next day sitting in an ER room with two IV's in me and my father siiting next to me.

I could not recall anything that had happened to me the night before. When I got out of the ER I talked with my parents about what had happened last night. They said all they knew was that at 7:00 am I cam stumbling back into the house after leaving to have a cigarette or so I said, and I came in to their room hyperventilating, a large bruise on my forehead, cuts on my feet, and my pajamas were wet up to my ankles. My eyes were bloodshot to the point where almost all u could see was red and my eyes were dilated to the point where there was no color ledt in them.

My parents knew something was wrong and so they started to question me.

After that my dad just grabbed me and rushed me to the nearest hospital. I was there until about 1:00 pm.

I knew that 30mg would have never given me that sort of reaction so fearing the worst I searched my room for the prescription bottle. I found it in the exact place I had left it when I took the first 30 mg. Except for one difference, the entire bottle was now empty. Before that night there was about 12 pills in there, and now there were one. I guess while I was under the influence I had decided to go get the bottle from its hiding spot, take the rest of them, put it back where I got it from, took the house key off of my parents key ring, turned off the alarm to the house, and left. How I made it back to the house and got out of this situation alive is a miracle. I never had my stomach pumped at any time, so that means my body took the abuse of having around 120-159mg of Ambien in its system. I'm a lucky person and the catscan that I took at the ER showed no permanent damage to my brain.
