I Turned Violent
Alprazolam & Alcohol - Hard
Citation:   LOBERT. "I Turned Violent: An Experience with Alprazolam & Alcohol - Hard (exp53034)". Erowid.org. Jan 2, 2021. erowid.org/exp/53034

DOSE:
5 mg oral Pharms - Alprazolam (pill / tablet)
15 ml oral Alcohol - Hard (liquid)
BODY WEIGHT: 165 lb
Alprazolam Alcohol and Violence

At this point I Desired to find my friends known to be at the bar. I saw a pal, and the bouncer allowed him upstairs to where the specific party for my classmates was being held. I tried to follow him upstairs, the bouncer would not budge for me?? despite being 24 years old and affiliated with the group upstairs. This likely resulted due to my drunken appearance, I was aggressive in response. I tried pushing through the bouncer, he pushed me back. He then called for back up bouncers.

Shortly thereafter Large men took me and pushed out the night club forcefully.

I could not process why I'd been pushed, only ragefullness dominated my mind, logic had disappeared from my brain.
I could not process why I'd been pushed away. Against all practicality I tried to once again push through the main entrance of the club seconds after being pushed out. At this point the bouncers pushed me outside, we wrestled on the ground for perhaps a few seconds before he had me pinned to the ground where I continued to struggle, he then punched me in the lateral abdominal area (only sorta hard). I suffered only minor abrasions (scrapes) and contusions (diffuse bruising) the next day and didn't need medical treatment luckily. I cabbed it home with my friend whom I found on the side of the road with a broken had and then tried unsuccessfully to sleep in bed, but too much adrenaline was pumping through my body despite the downers of alcohol and alprazolam. I am not a violent man, in fact a passive non confrontational man by nature, and this scuffle was out of character and both traumatizing, and humiliating for me. My only real physical altercation in decades. I expected relaxation and sedation from the benzo alco mixture, but not in my case.

In summary, xanax with alcohol suppressed the higher center of my brains, I worked on emotion alone, without any aforethought, if I WAS ANGRY I acted out despite the obvious consequences.

In my case alprazolam/alcohol made me unreasonable and combatitive, a dangerous situation. Luckily I was not arrested nor injured.
