On the night my friend and I were supposed to go camping, my good friend, who happened to be a notorious drug dealer, decided to invite us to his house for the night. Usually my nights there had consisted of getting drunk and high on pot and then passing out. My past experiences with drugs had included pot, shrooms, and acid. Never anything really hard.

After drinking about six beers and smoking a half quarter of my pot I was feeling like it was almost time to bail the scene. My friend's (the dealer) girlfriend asked if I wanted her to get some crystal from him. Feeling like a burnout I decided to go for it. All three of us went into the living room and he busted out three lines of an off white coloured powder. A rolled fifty was lying on the table. I snorted two right away.

The burning sensation was the first thing I encountered, and I never really got the drips. The effects were immediate and I felt revived, like I wanted to party. We danced and sang and I was so talkative. The guy I had been crushing on came over and we talked all night, he even walked me home, which was a four hour walk. This was amazing for someone as shy and mellow as me. I honestly thought I was in heaven and would never come down. Once inside my house I realized it was 4 am, six hours since I had snorted. I decided to wait until 4:20 and smoke more pot. I ended up smoking over a quarter to myself without getting high. So I went upstairs to my room and cleaned for a few hours, still as high off the meth as before. When things were clean I surfed the net, and sometime around daybreak, I noticed the words on my computer were bouncing. This freaked me out, it was like hallucinating off mushrooms. I thought to myself I am just coming down, stay calm. But it was so intense I lay in my bed staring at all the illusions around me.

At one point I thought the curved hooks in the ceiling holding up my plants were all bending. I ran beneath them to catch the plants, but they never fell, even as the hook straightened itself out completely. These hallucinations continued for four days after I snorted, along with no appetite, lock jaw, paranoia, and feelings of nausea. I even had to write my math exam while the letters and numbers were bouncing from the page. Finally on the fifth day after, I awoke with no more symptoms. I was so relived and will never do that again. It was like being high twice in a row with no come down. The first being amazing, and the second being and inescapable nightmare. Just a warning!!!
