Borax Mix as Comparison With MDMA

TL;DR borax mix works well but it lasts appreciably longer and has more psychedelic aspects than pure MDMA.

My trip partner (f) and I (m) rented a quiet hotel room to explore a mix of semi-legal research chemicals designed by a Reddit user named Borax to replicate the effects of the uniformly illegal MDMA.

T=0 We decided to start with a single pink star each, with an optional additional half-dose planned for 5-6 hours in. Post-consumption, I performed oral sex on my partner, which became steadily more intense. She rarely orgasms from oral, but readily and intensely came. Stopping this, we immediately realised we were solidly rolling at 45 minutes or so in.

T=1h The initial hour post-come up very closely paralleled the experience of MDMA. Teeth clenching, eye flicking, intense euphoria, jitteriness, tactile enhancement. My partner was exceptionally talkative, again similar to her experience with MDMA. This is an intensely erotic drug mixture, and despite my inability to become hard, we eagerly did everything else we could imagine, besides intercourse. The combination of two amphetamine derivatives is probably what made this combination perhaps even less forgiving towards male arousal than MDMA. Starting at 1 hour, we added nitrous oxide balloons to spike euphoria, and poppers to enable deep eye gazing. The nitrous was in particular potentiated by the borax mix, and I do not think I have ever been as high in my life as when I was inhaling balloons in those first hours.

T=3h At this point, the experience of the borax mix and pure MDMA started to diverge. Specifically, the psychedelic impact of the 5meo-mipt began to dominate, leading to intense closed eye visuals of highly geometric, dynamic, and sharp edged structures. This is a classic tryptamine phenotype. These CEV became intense and rather distracting, though not unpleasant, particularly with poppers usage. Interestingly, we noted no open eye visuals. At the same time, the euphoria had faded more sharply than is typical with MDMA.

T=5h We redosed with an additional half-pellet each, as planned. This effectively reset the experience back to T=1h. In other words, the euphoria returned, and the closed eye visuals receded for a few hours, probably due to the re-dose of 5-mapb.

T=10h We were able to go to sleep fairly easily, but it was a long ride. The redose probably should have been skipped, simply because we were deeply exhausted by the end.

T=24h This report is being written the next day. We are a bit tired, but neither of us have any hangover or depressive recoil, which I always experience from MDMA.

Additional points:
* In case it was not clear from above, we very much enjoyed this journey, and will do pink stars again.
* compared to 5-mapb taken solo, the first few hours of the trip are much more similar to MDMA, but the low-dose tryptamine overwhelms the mapb-driven roll by hour 3 or 4.
