Just a trip report even if the trip not finished. My body is clear of any benzos or drug. Knowing benzos I decided to try diazepam. Mainly to know what is a "full aspect of the benzo" benzo. And it is.

It has nothing to do with alprazolam or oxazepam or even lexomil. I took a 1/4 of a 10mg pill with a small glass of wine.

After maybe 10mins, I really felt like I couldn't move and had to be carefull with movements/when moving. (I already know benzos and also am careful because of possibility to fall or drop objects).

I was already a bit tired when I took it. I could watch my tv serie without problems, but very very lazily, it was really sedative and had to like "not move" and "just watch the screen" without doing anything else.

After 30min to an 1hrs I had the munchies, and cooked a full plate that I ate fast and with pleasure.

Finally slept maybe 3hrs after taking the drug.

I was waken up by some noises after 7hrs of sleep and was still approx. on the effect. Not as strong as 1hrs after taking but it's been now 12hrs and I'm definitely sedated still. I'm moving slowly, not like a robot but I'm clearly sedated.

Usually with the benzos I take I have a rebound anxiety after some hours that could be very strong and make me take others (what finally can end up bad).

I feel with this one it's really easier to resist, and even 12hrs after I still totally feel a bit that the anxiolytic effect is still there. I don't care much about things, etc. But in addition I'm sedated which wasn't the case with others (alprazolam-xanax, oxazepam...) benzos.

Seems a positive and negative, positive to me for both : sedated and not craving the next day.

Don't know how long it will last but I feel I'll have 2/3 days to "recover" (without pain maybe because of long half life) from just one pill.

It's not at all like alprazolam to me. It's more a stronger thing, but maybe better and less dangerous (except if you become addict, then it's hell) if taken as a "one time thing".
