I'd like to start off by saying I'm an experienced drug user, I've smoked pot for 10 years, did hard opiates for 5 years, did meth for a year, and have tried various substances of all sorts.
I recently started going to a psychiatrist, for over coming my meth addiction, and depression I've had underlying since I was around 12-13. They put me on prozac at first, and in about a month I got worse. I heard you could get high on Welbutrin, so I brought up to my doc possibly getting a script for that since my prozac made me even more depressed. Boom, just like that I'm walking out of the pharmacy with 30 150mg XR bupropion.
Lovely, I thought. That was easy enough.
0:00 I pop a pill on the way home.
0:10 : I get home, crush up a 150mg pill, break cut myself a huge line, and rail that shit. It burns like a bitch and clogs my nose.
0:15 : not much stimulation, decide to finish the crushed and do another 3 fat lines back to back. My nose gets clogged, the burn is awful, drip is pretty subtle, however mild stimulation accompanied by a terrible headache happens at this point, that is in no way comparable to cocaine or any type of amphetamine.
00:30 : this is about the time I'm pretty disappointed, questioning if I even took enough for a buzz, so I crush another 150mg, break it into 4 lines, snort em.
00:40 I feel like shit. My head hurts.
00:40 I feel like shit. My head hurts.
I probably would of been better off pounding a huge can of monster. I won't try to ever use this recreationally again.
However I'm going to stay away from it for a few days, try and use it as prescribed, and see if it actually does help my depression.
