DOSE:
200 mg oral MDMA
  200 mg oral MDMA
  30 mg IV Morphine
BODY WEIGHT: 190 lb
[Erowid Note: The dose described in this report is very high, potentially beyond Erowid's 'heavy' range, and could pose serious health risks or result in unwanted, extreme effects. Sometimes extremely high doses reported are errors rather than actual doses used.]
For the last 5 or 6 years I've had a bit of a hypothetical marriage to IV opiates, morphine and Dilaudid (hydromorphone) in particular, along with a love affair with molly (Pure or close to pure MDMA in crystal and powder form). I spent my teenage years eating potentially dangerous amounts of E pills every weekend until the drug just sort of disappeared from my town.

Jump back to present day and I'm doing well on a methadone/suboxone maintenance program avoiding all drugs besides the odd line of coke at the bar. I realized accidentally that stopping suboxone for 4 or 5 days leaves me with no withdrawal symptoms but still managed to block out opiates fairly well during a rare relapse. The reason for stopping my suboxone is due to my occasional molly usage and stumbling across a report online about a suboxone user somewhere developing serotonin syndrome from just suboxone. Any drugs that can or have caused serotonin syndrome have always been on my avoid list for at least 5 days before using molly, at least 14 days for SSRI's or MAOI's.

One night while rolling pretty hard from a 200mg starter dose and a repeated 200mg dose on the tail end of the first 200mg wearing off, a friend who will remain unnamed handed me 4 morphine 30mg pills outside a local bar. Instead of telling said friend that I had been clean for years, minus the odd relapse a couple times a year, I decided to just accept them with the intention of selling them or giving them away to a friend who I may run into while they are dope sick. This plan failed, hard.

After returning home I was at that part of a molly trip where I'm still wired awake but most of the insanely powerful feelings of euphoria are gone. I felt like I was high on meth, a drug that has traditionally given me zero euphoria. Lots of energy, teeth grinding, basically all of the effects that molly gives me minus the euphoria. I also had a bit of a molly hangover headache and was feeling pretty miserable. Enter morphine.

Even while clean I always keep clean gear around for IV users who may end up using at my place. I have very little trouble staying off of opiates even while friends shoot up in front of me. I'd reached a point where I can barely feel a rush from IV opiates even without the methadone and now suboxone. I decide that even if I hardly feel the morphine it may still help with the headache and maybe help me not be so wired awake. I don't condone mixing drugs in general unless they are psychedelics and MDMA and you're experienced with both prior to mixing.

[Erowid Note: Because opiate use can lead to significant tolerance (requiring higher doses for the same effects), the dose used by a first time user is significantly smaller than that used by a regular user. It can be extremely dangerous to choose ones dose on the basis of the amount taken by someone else. Overdoses of opiates can be fatal.]
I threw one of the 30mg pills in a cooker, threw in roughly 1cc of sterile water, cooked the pill until it just started to boil, filtered out the water from the gooey gel mess that the time released pills always leave behind, emptied the syringe's contents into a second cooker, filtered again through a micron filter (hey if I'm gonna IV pills I use sterile cotton and then a micron filter, or better yet filter twice or even 3 times through sterile micron filters. My advice though, don't IV pills, ever.) Once I had a solution I was sure was as safe and free of particulates as possible I tied off with a tourniquet, sterilized the injection site, inserted the needle on a roughly 30-45° angle, registered blood then slowly pushed the plunger down until empty. I then removed the strap and syringe, put a sterile compress over the injection site and waited. The rush that followed wasn't just as good as that first great rush everyone tends to try to replicate it was unlike any rush I'd ever had in all of the years I was using. For what felt like well over a full 2 minutes I couldn't move, talk or think about anything really besides the fact that the molly was entirely worn off as of the second that the morphine rush started. Usually a morphine rush is 30 seconds of bliss then a little after glow for another 15-30 seconds. What follows for someone like me who isn't on methadone or suboxone is nothing besides finally feeling like a normal person again and not being a dope sick mess who can only focus on the fact that they feel so good damn miserable. For someone who can still get and stay high from opiates you either feel euphoric and/or nod off for the next few hours, depending on the dose.

The funny thing is I've replicated this experience multiple times now. I've tried banging much higher amounts of morphine the same day before the molly to little or no effect thanks to the opiate-blocking effects of the suboxone. The same day though with the same dose at the tail end of a molly trip the rush is always one of the best I've ever experienced. Along with the morphine entirely stopping the molly high for the duration of the rush and then it coming back over the next minute or so to the same effect as it was before the morphine shot.

I'm not writing this to recommend anyone try this. It's not a good idea to use morphine or MDMA at all, let alone together like this. I'm simply writing this because I can't find anything online to explain why suboxone can block out opiates on the same day 4-5 days after stopping it but using at the end of an MDMA trip somehow not only intensifies the morphine rush but seems to block out the suboxone's opiate blocking effects.

Again, be safe, don't mix drugs and if you plan to anyway at least make sure you have friends there with you just in case something goes wrong!
