A Strange Dissociative and Euphoric Trip

Hi, my name is Daniel, I'm from eastern europe and I have an experience I'd like to share. Years ago when I was about 16 I was in a permanent search for a high. I had smoked and eaten weed and I was amazed at how strongly this drug can alter my perception of reality.

So in my desperate search I came across inhalants and wanted to try them right away. I went to the store, bought a can of butane, came back home, locked myself in my room and started huffing right away, sitting down. One hit. Two hits... I started feeling drowsy. By the time I take my third huff I realise I'm majorly messed up, stronger than I had ever been on any edible before. I stand there for 4-5 seconds in awe of what I am experiencing. Its hard to describe but I will try to the best I can.

My ears were ringing. Sounds were choppy like when you listen to a song slide back and forth very fast on the volume slide. Thoughts came and went without me realising. I had an intense feeling of "out of it" like when I'm almost black out drunk. Minutes passed and I realised I was slowly losing the high. I took the can and went for another 2 much larger huffs. Huff. Huff. The high is coming back on. I exhale the gas. The second I exhaled I felt free. Every thought, every action felt like deja vu. I felt even higher. I felt like I was leaving earth on a cloud, slowly getting higher and higher. I layed down with this image of a clock ticking (but much faster) somehow I knew when the clock does a full spin I will be gone. It did and I closed my eyes. Full on out of body experience. Reality ceased to exist. I saw a spinning circle with a dot near its edge. Then came another circle. I saw a God. He seemed mad that he created the circles and he couldnt stop them. The circles had made him go mad so he created me to deal with it. The circles were spinning and spinning. I felt powerless. I felt like I was doomed for eternity and there is no end to this.

The high was slowly wearing off and I remembered I have a body! I used all of my will power to move but I felt paralysed. My eyes! I open my eyes wide open. I felt like I had woken up from a nightmare. I was still sitting. 3 minutes had passed. I got up and went to wash my face, still a drowsy. I was still in shock as to what I just experienced. The high went away after about 10 minutes and the drowsiness went away within 1 hour. I proceeded to make a "flamethrower" with the remaining butane.

Overall this was not a negative experience but not a positive one either. I don't regret having it. This experience teached me of the boundries the human mind though I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.
