DOSE:
13 g   Acacia confusa (rootbark)
  6 g   Syrian Rue (seeds)
BODY WEIGHT: 82 kg
Formosahuasca Experience: Poor ACRB Powder, Preparation Mistake or DMT Immunity?

I prepared a brew with the ingredients below as follows.
First, I simmered 13 grams of ACRB powder, 6 grams crushed Syrian rue seeds, 1/4 cup of vinagar and ~6 cups of water in a large pot for 3.5 hours, adding water when necessary. By simmer, I mean the brew was bubbling nicely, but the liquid was clear, not frothing.

Ingredients:
13g A. confusa root bark powder (28g packet)
6g Syrian rue
Pull one: 1/4 cup vinegar
Pull two: 1/2 fresh-squeezed lemon juice

At the 3.5 hour mark, I drained off all of the liquid to be evaporated down later, leaving only the plant materials.

Then I added about 6 cups of fresh water to the plant material, simmering for 3.5 hours., this time with 1/2 lemon fresh-squeezed juice, not vinegar.

The plant material was separated from the liquid using a strainer and then a coffee filter.

The two pulls of brew were combined and evaporated down to 75ml over a 3.5-hour period.

Finally, to remove tannins, I placed the egg white from one egg into the brew under low heat. The egg was strained away, and then the remaining liquid was was strained through a paper coffee filter, resulting in 50ml of liquid from the original 66ml.

26 minutes in, head feeling heavy. Faint ringing in the ears.
Pulse slightly elevated to +/- 82 beats-per-minute.
Stomach beginning to churn.

28 minutes in: Defecation #1, This is the second on the day. The one I took this morning was a typical post-breakfast defecation. The one I took just now was less turgid.

Note: Begin journey ON THE TOILET WITH A PUKE BUCKET IN HAND.

The whole ceremony hall for ayahuasca is not well thought-out. It looks good in a brochure, but the journey should not begin there. There should be banks of toilets.

34 minutes in : Defecation #2. This was the foulest defecation I have ever executed. Stomach in knots at this point.

36 minutes in: Defecation #3, sizeable diarrhea discharge.

39 minutes in: Defecation #4, a firehose-like discharge of rancid liquid. My lower GI tract was full of nastiness that might not have been released without this experience.

42 minutes in: Vision beginning to trail.

Defecation #5, a small discharge.

Note: Shower toilets come in handy.

50 minutes in: Mild visual hallucinations began. As I am writing this on my iPhone, my fingers are trailing like mad and changing colors slightly with shades of green and blue.

55 minutes in: moving around is getting tricky.

1h25min in, I felt it gripping me, but nothing serious. No hallucinations.

1h55min in, Defecation #12 or so.

No fractals, no hallucinations, just a heavy body high with excessive purging. No entities, no voices.

3.5 hours into the experience I was down, and well enough to ride a bicycle around the neighborhood.

My question is, was this high from the Syrian rue only, or was there some DMT involved? This was my first time ingesting both rue and DMT plant materials, so I am not really sure what was going on.
