DXM Plateau Sigma Report

Prefix: I had a lot of experience with various psychedelics and dosages, but I used DXM only twice prior to investigated the infamous 'Sigma Plateau'. The two times I used 300mg and 350mg doses. When I read about Sigma I thought to myself: 'Damn, I really have a chance to be in places only a few 'chosen ones' have been to'. Oh, how wrong I was to play with this substance. While LSD and Shrooms show me colorful and euphoric worlds, cough syrup containing DXM is straightforward a psychosis in a bottle.

T+00:00 I chugged a whole bottle of cough syrup (DXM only, 312mg), started watching a movie.

T+02:00 Here is where I usually finally feel the effects of DXM well and clear which are: Noises and echoes from any sounds I hear and even plain silence. Slowed reaction time. Feeling of being lost in my own room, depth perception was completely ruined, I had troubles walking in a straight line or even seeing straight. My pupils are still small, but I am getting to forget who I am.

T+03:00 I chugged another bottle, but this time, it almost feels like I start feeling the effects getting stronger almost immediately.

T+03:40 Oh boy, I moved to the closet for some reason, and after that everything was super difficult to remember, but thankfully I got to take the most important from this experience.

T+05:30 No joke, feeling like my head was split open horizontally in the middle of my eye line, making me see two 'worlds at the same time. One being my room, but the other - a dark sphere, full of red baths, like the one neo woke up from in the movie Matrix, covering the inside area of the sphere. all of them are interconnected between each other with red veins and in the middle of the sphere - a jester. I can only compare this figure to something one would see on DMT, indescribable and divine. I remember getting an insight from waking up from this bath and realizing that life is just one of the lives in this Spherical world.

T+06:00 I am sitting on the floor with the last bottle opened right in front of me, but I can't drink it because I don't want to die or go crazy, but in the end, I decided it was something worth going nuts for and I chugged the third bottle.

I started the whole process at 4 PM and this whole night consisted of me trying to go to the bathroom (it was impossible, I couldn't walk or even think of the steps I have to take to pee), sweating profusely all over the floor, making weird noises in attempt to communicate with the divine and staring at the green geometrical flower on the ceiling. I had completely forgotten of who I am and where I can be, and basically was walking zombie experiencing death over and over as I am trying to make sense of the situation.

I woke up in the morning, STILL TRIPPING, and I thought to myself: 'you did it, now you are a psychopath and will never go normal'. I spent the whole day trying to reconnect with the reality, but nothing worked. I waited the whole day and in the evening my girlfriend came over and I guess a burst of serotonin after sex made me feel well again. I am so happy I don't hear voices anymore. I know one thing for sure - I am not touching that substance ever again.
