DOSE:
120 mg oral Codeine (pill / tablet)
1400 mg oral Acetaminophen (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 145 lb
The first time I took Codeine was because I was bored at home. Simple as that.

At this point I hadn't done any drugs recreationally, although I had been very curious about the more known drugs (Think: Alcohol, Cigarettes, Marijuana). My mom wasn't home at this point and I had been researching random drugs in our medicine cabinet to see if any would offer some sort of high, when I came across Tylenol 3's. These are a Canadian pain medication only offered via script.

After reading the really basic stuff ,I found a recommendation for a first dosage, so I popped four 30mg pills without preforming a CWE and sat back to wait.

I wasn't too worried about handling the amount of apap in it since I had taken that dosage or more in past years. Processing all the pain medication is really hard on your body, especially when alcohol has been consumed at the same time or recently. I have also read that people find the apap can ruin the high, and that it feels a lot cleaner after removing the extra.

After about an hour a whole lot kicked in all at once. My biggest mistake here was not reading anything about what to expect, or how to handle it. The room was spinning around me, and my stomach felt quite upset. I went to the bathroom and found my pupils had pinned so tiny it felt like I could barely see them. I went back to my computer and tried to continue there for maybe 10 minutes before giving up and going to lay down. Once I had laid down the nausea quieted down, and the room spun a little less harshly. At this point I was able to feel more of the pleasant effects, I felt warm, relaxed, and found myself fighting off sleep.

I'm not sure how much time passed before I passed out, it may have only been a couple minutes. I spent an hour or two drifting in and out of sleep on the couch, before finally waking up to find the nausea had mainly subsided and the room was no longer spinning. The pleasant effects had started to wane a little, but I was left feeling warm and relaxed for another couple hours.

After the experience I was rather turned off to the idea of trying again, the nausea and spinning was extremely uncomfortable, and scared me since I hadn't realized it was an effect of the codeine until later. Since then I have used again several times, although have been unable to get anywhere near the same high with the same dose. The experiences since then have been much more enjoyable as I knew what to expect, and how to prepare myself for it.
