Hello, I am 44 y/o fit male, heathy, No physical or mental illness, No other meds, or drugs, etc. Non smoker, mild coffee drinker.

Last 10-15yrs 'CLEAN' No illegal or legal drugs or Alchohol for decades. But I do miss my drugs! Once in awhile the opportunity arises to entice me with an 'occasion dabble' if it's presented BUT nothing like my younger days!!! Too old for that.

A Recently prescribed box '30' Imovane (zopiclone) tablets for apparent sleep issues. I thought I'd give 'em a 'dabble'!

Anyway, my results:

DAY#1 - 1x7.5mg recommended noct dose: Very little effect. Minor drowsiness but more just relaxed me, if not sleep. Clear consciousness -- simple functionality perfect. Fell Asleep as normal. Awoke fine -- NO HANGOVER.

TIME TO EXPERIMENT

DAY#2 - 3x7.5mg (22mg): 'Noticable' drowsiness, but still no adverse affect on functionality. Quite 'Noticable' fragmentry memory loss during intoxication time (this was apparent after the fact) -- nothing too concerning for me. Asleep quicker than normal. Awoke fine -- NO HANGOVER.

DAY#3 - 5x7.5mg (37.5mg): Far more 'Noticable' drowsiness, 'unknown' adverse affect on functionality. 'Missing time' or possibly 'blackouts'. VERY 'Noticable' memory loss during intoxication time (comprising very vague flashbacks) apparent after the fact -- this started to concern me. Asleep in bed instantly. Awoke fine -- NO HANGOVER.

DAY#4 - 10x7.5mg (75mg): Far more 'Noticable' drowsiness, 'unknown' adverse affect on functionality. 'Missing time' or possibly 'blackouts' & COMPLETE MEMORY LOSS for period during intoxication.(not even vague flashbacks) apparent after the fact -- this did concern me! Asleep in bed instantly. Awoke fine -- no major hangover, but fuzzy headed which cleared up quickly.

NOTES #1: Zopiclone for me, appears to have good anxiolitic properties in recommended dose & good hypnotic qualities in higher doses (2x). It does have VERY STRONG amnesiac qualities especially in higher doses (5-10x7.5mg) to be aware of and be careful of, as it is COMPLETE AMNESIA -- I DID NOT remember during that period.

NOTES #2: I have been aware of possible 'withdrawal' symptoms whilst using in high amount for over 1 week. Obviously my own fault but interesting nonetheless and nothing of major concern to me. These are as follows: Daytime anxiety/restlessness or energetic euphoria. Rumbling tummy. Appetite changes. Muscle tension. Sleep issues. Warm-hot flashes & tingling through body. Drug cravings. Fine tremor/nervousness. As I said, of no real concern to me (I actually like it) but it's however one wishes to handle it.
