DOM, STP, is totally nuts and beautiful, I always remind myself to just stay stimulated, and keep going with it. However, it does not subscribe to the (American) more-is-better philosophy, dosage-wise. This was my seventh or eighth trip with DOM, we had tried doses from 5-8mg, and felt more confident and less inclined to push the dose any further. DOM opens like a flower, unlike LSD or shrooms where the effects peak early, and I have found that I always get where I want to go.

Setting was at home, Tuesday night, whoo whoo! All aboard the Gravy Train!
0:00 - a 5mg tab of DOM (STP) was taken after a meal with antacid for enhanced absorption.
1:00 - first alert, a buzz in the head, slight constriction of the airways, and a bit of anxiety.
1:30 - this is coming on strong, building and the plants outside look like they want to strangle me, the tension is as heavy as their cool evening air. The music seems slower.
2:00 - it has arrived. The lungs open as the breath flows in, it is heavenly like a tesselated curtain of jeweled ecstasy, it is cold, yet pleasant.

2:45 - cannabis is smoked, faster music is played, and I'm jacked. I feel like I did 7.5mg dextroamphetamine, while my companion is sluggish and stoned into outer space, perma grin and all.
3:30 - the building continues, as music is played, fast rhythmic music, and we do some meditation, stretching and yoga. I feel like all limitations cease to exist, not very visual, but getting there.
5:00 - the slowing of the ascent indicates that we have reached cruising altitude, you may stroll the cabin and leave your seats.
6:00 - it is becoming more visual, equivalent to maybe 150ug of LSD. We make love and it is incredible, yet difficult in some ways.

7:00 - the shakiness of this compound comes into play, some warm tea and ginger help greatly. The visual component is around peak levels, mental energy is fading a bit. It is gorgeous and turning more introspective, darker perhaps.
8:00 - the trip must go on! More music! More cannabis!
9:00 - there is intense conversation, beginning to feel drained, it occurs to me that this serotonin-speed (DOM) has revealed more of itself, and I believe it is the most demystifying of the psychedelics, for it shows the tricks from a place and time where they can be accurately understood and processed by a supercharged DOM-brain.

10:00 - We each take a xanax, smoke more cannabis, the cannabis seems to really synergize, and there are some cool patterned composite warping chequer visuals, mental state is exhausted completely.
12:00 - sweet sleep, with a bit of tremor/cold until we snuggle up and are cozy. Joints ache a bit, but this is to be expected.

DOM is a great compound, something good for couples, as it is emotionally expressive but not as glossy as MDMA, and it gives me the tools to take the journey many different directions. By far, it is my favorite PEA-Psychedelic, and on par with MDA for euphoria, at times.

I don't know if this is just my experience, but DOM could have great promise in treating amphetamine addiction, while it shows the user an enhanced state, it is revealing and nurturing as well. I think it is a specialized tool. Perhaps the increased popularity of Yoga in the west will make DOM, the 'Yoga Drug', more popular.
