Tried a lions tail drink recently added to the menu at my favorite kava bar. The effects were great and enjoyable, but not overly pronounced. Today I had to take a urine drug test... and failed for MDMA and benzodiazepines, twice. The testing cups are extremely sensitive. The cups are from a company based where I'm at in South Florida. This company is primarily used by inpatient and outpatient drug rehabs.

I am currently living in a halfway house, and will probably be sent back to inpatient treatment for the two 'dirty' results. The only substances I consumed recently are kava and lion's tail. I have not taken any illicit drugs in the past year, including benzos or MDMA. Word to the wise, be informed of the sensitivity of any testing apparatus and know what labs it will be sent to. Thankfully the in-depth, confirmation laboratory testing will be done by Quest Diagnostics. I expect an apology from my halfway house owner when the results come back negative. Oh well, it is what it is.
