Commentary

Some years ago, while reporting on Ayahuasca traditional use in Peru, I met the maestro Guillermo Arrevalo who offered me the opportunity to photograph healing sessions with the vine, and also to try his planta Maestra myself. Back to France I felt desapointed with the impossibility to restitute photographically the "soul" of this experience. I latter composed this photomontage as an attempt to show a small part of what no camera can catch.
