Urine Testing
2C-I is not one of the "SAMHSA-5", the five drugs tested for in U.S. government-approved basic drug tests. 2C-I is also not tested for in typical extended drug tests. No simple screens are available for 2C-I, though any advanced lab technique such as GC/MS or LC/MS can detect and identify 2C-I in urine or blood. It is not chemically similar to any of the drugs tested for, so should not trigger the tests as another substance.
